Jerry L. Young Sr., 76, of New Whiteland, died on Friday, April 14, 2017, in New Whiteland. He was born on November 30, 1940, in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, to his parents, Walter and Ruth (Shook) Young.
He was a veteran, serving proudly in the United States Marines. Jerry was a truck driver for S & L Trucking. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Jane Young of New Whiteland, his children, Laurie (Robert) Tinsley of Scottsburg, Jerry (Regina) Young Jr., David Young both of Florida, Christina Young of New Whiteland, and Christopher Young of North Vernon, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
