Jerry L. Teston “Big Daddy” 1930 – 2010 Jerry L. Teston, 80, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2010, after a two-year struggle with the affects of a debilitating stroke and three heart attacks. Jerry was born on June 20, 1930, in Atkinson County, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lindsey and Louise Brown Teston, and father- and mother-in-law, D. Fletcher C. Robertson and Amy Alice Greek. As a youth, Jerry attended school in Douglas, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida, where his family had moved. In 1948, he graduated from Robert E. Lee Senior High School in Jacksonville. Jerry also served in the Army from 1951 to 1953, in Korea.
