Jerry passed away peacefully at his home Friday October 21 2022, with his loved ones by his side.
He was born in Ogden Utah on January 9th 1942 to William L Hartey and Thelma Anderson.
His proudest moments were meeting and marrying his beloved wife Carol McIntire of 48 years. They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple in 1992.
Jerry cherished and loved his family and many friends.
He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting with family and friends and dancing with Carol.
He also, loved going to St George to spend time with his sister Connie and husband Rod.
Jerry worked and retired from Fife Rock Co after 46 years of dedicated service.
He had a very positive and strong attitude that stuck with him until the very end. We would like to thank the Hospice team of nurses who took wonderful care of him, especially Lisa, who Jerry loved and admired dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister (Gaylene), son (Jerry Jr), wife, and daughter (Lori).
Surviving are his sons, Jeff (Melanie) Kelly, Steve, and Curtis (Deb). His sisters, Connie Royster (Rod) Glenda Hachmeister and 15 grandchildren.
