Jerry Thomas King

King, Jerry T. age 75 of Birmingham, Alabama went to be with Jesus on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at 5 PM, at a local hospital. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Patricia B. King; three children, Melinda King Wilson (Jeff), Charles Perry Blount and Pam Woods (Manley); four grandchildren, Tommy Wilson, Steven Wilson, Jennifer Woods and Jessica Woods.
Jerry graduated from Madisonville High School in Madisonville, Kentucky. He finished high school with honors and was Valedictorian of his graduating class. After high school Jerry attended Draughton Business College in Nashville and graduated from there with a degree in accounting. Jerry was a life-long business manager, comptroller and corporate officer of various GM dealerships. He retired as a consultant and dealership liquidator from General Motors with 47 years of service. Jerry was a man of God who was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Jerry also never hesitated to share his testimony. Jerry was a member of Huffman Baptist Church. Jerry was devoted to his loving wife, Patricia, his children, his family members and friends. He will be missed by all.
