Jerry was a member of the Knights of Columbus for many years. Jerry was a devout Christian who adored his family. He was always willing to help those in need and his motto was “pay forward”.. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Joseph Cortez, Sr.. and Justillian to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 devoted years, Iva Lepine Cortez; his sons, Jerry John Cortez, Jr. and Charles (Jessica) Cortez; his 3 grandchildren, Alexis, Hailey, and Craig Cortez; numerous nieces, nephews, and loved .
