Jerry James Hart, age 73, passed away on September 15, 2019, in Denver, Colorado.

Born November 9, 1945, in Glendale, California, Jerry held a bachelor’s degree in entomology and worked for Mountain Bell, where he received the honor of Volunteer of the Year, and as a realtor with Re/Max 100. Jerry was a Boy Scout, where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, and a member of the Optimist Club and the Indian Hills Improvement Association.

Jerry’s hobbies and interests included the Colorado Rockies, trains, and volunteering in the community – a true renaissance man and family man!

Survivors include his children David Altman, Denise (Eric) Brown, Derek (Teresa) Hart, Kristine (Paul) Elliott, and Karin Rees; grandchildren Jeremy Altman, Ethan and Justin Brown, Kaitlyn and Megan Elliott; sister Arrinda (Fred) Zufall. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Diann Jean Baker, and parents, James Curtis Hart and Mildred Arrinda (Booher) Hart.
