Jerry George “Jady” Campbell, age 80, a farmer and lifelong resident of New Market, Alabama, peacefully passed away at his home on Saturday, February 8, 2020.

Jady is survived by his wife, Willa Dean Campbell;  By his children, George (Pam) Campbell, Becky Jones (Darrin) West;  His grandchildren: Lori (William) Worcester and Wesley (Charity) Jones;  Seven great-grandchildren and his sister, Jackie (Clark) Gray.

He was preceded in death by his father, Macon Campbell;  By his mother, Nova Mae Campbell;  By his sister, Cherry Howard, and by his son-in-law, Mickey Jones.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather and farmer, he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family, being on his tractor, and checking his crops.  A seasoned storyteller and family historian, to be in his presence was to laugh uncontrollably and often learn a thing or two.  Jady spent two years in the Army serving our great country.  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Kindred Hospice and Lisa Traylor.

Honorary Pall Bearers are:
Billy Smith, Monte “Tody” Davis, T.J. Campbell, James Jacks, Johnny Bumgardner, Bobby Billions, Donald Hodge, and Dee Jones.
