Jerry J. Garcia, 59, passed away on March 3, 2022. Affectionately known as “Macaron”. Jerry was born on April 21, 1962 in Colorado Springs, Jerry is reunited with all of his dearly departed family members, and precious friends. The most joyous of this reunion is of Jerry and his son Dominic and the Heavenly life after death.

 

Jerry loved to ride his bike, it was a personal passion of his. He had a heart of “Gold”, he would always extend a hand to anyone in need. Jerry and Dom loved to collect “Hot Wheels”. On Halloween whether a boy or girl, no candy but a new “Hot Wheel”. He usually had a spare in his pocket ready to give away.

 

Jerry is survived by; his father, Elias B. and Geraldine Garcia; mother, Agnes Vasquez; daughter Gabrielle Garcia; sisters, Annie Garcia, Diana Rodriguez, Marlene Garcia (John); brothers, Rick (Kathy) Garcia, Manuel Vasquez; stepsisters, Debbie(deceased), Ruth, Renee (Jimmy), and Juanita (Carl); favorite niece, Anita; brother-in-law, Danny.

 

Jerry’s family history begins in the San Luis Valley of which he is now a part of the story. From his grandparents to uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, family of his mom’s from Denver. Jerry leaves many precious memories with all he knew to include many very “Special Friends”, “Bro’s” and “Mary-Lou’s”.

 

Jerry will be dearly missed by all who knew him and we will know in our hearts that Jerry is now at peace and loved us back. Thank you Jerry for being a son, a Dad, brother, uncle, and great friend. Peace-Out Jerry “Macaron” Garcia. 10-10 til we meet again.
