Mr. Jerry Rodgers, 64, of Huntsville, departed this Life while in Huntsville Hospital CCU.
Jerry was born in Lewisburg, TN. To Hulan Hood Rodgers and Bernice Collins Rodgers. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Navy. Jerry graduated from Lee High School and received his Engineering degree from Athens State University. His career carried him around the world while supporting the United States Armed Forces. Jerry retired June 2016 from DRS Technologies. He loved being with his family, friends, numerous pets, Harley’s, gardening, creating and planning for the future adventures. His compassionate, honorable, flair for life, big heart and unique humor will continue to live in the hearts of all that knew him. Above all – JERRY DID IT HIS WAY!
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Patricia; daughter, Stacey Rodgers Gambill; grandchildren, Michael Gambill, and Chelsea Gambill; siblings, James C. Thompson, and wife Donna, of Arvada, C.O., Jeffrey T. Rodgers, and Julann E. Rodgers; uncle Cecil Rodgers, of Cropwell, AL and numerous nephews, nieces and special friends around the world.
