Jerry Horton Dial

Jerry Dial joined his Lord and Savior on June 14, 2013. Jerry was born in Bessemer, Al and moved to Ft. Walton Beach in 1952. He graduated from Choctawhatchee H.S. in 1955 and worked for several businesses before opening his own business, Jerry’s Auto Repair, located for 25 years on Beal Parkway. He was an avid bass fisherman; enjoyed fishing tournaments in Kentucky and Texas as well as locally and winning many trophies.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father Horton Dial, mother Mary Lois Dial, sisters Jane Reese (Guy) and Betty Boone (Harold) and brother Jim Dial (Margie). He leaves behind his beloved wife, Marilyn; son Jerry Alan Dial (Julie); granddaughters Ashley Frey and Jailyn Gailor; grandsons Steven Dial, Joshua and Jacob Gailor; nephews Michael (Becky) and Pat Boone, Jim Dial (Sue); niece Debbie Osborne (Tom), several great nephews and nieces and many, many friends all who will miss him greatly.
