A native of Nicholson, MS, he was retired and served in the U.S. Army during three terms in the Vietnam War as a Chief Warrant Officer. Jerry was a loving and devoted brother, uncle, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Sones and Wilda Page Sones; and his wife, Helga to cherish his memory are his brothers, Hollis Sones and Larry Sones; his sister, Nellene Adams; several nieces and nephews, and his beloved partner in life, Irene Tammany SPCA.
