Jerry F. Burton, 83, of Bedford, Indiana passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 in Bloomington, Indiana at the IU Hospice House.
Jerry was born on April 12, 1937 in Mitchell, Indiana to the late William Burton and Nola (Byrd) Burton.
Jerry was married to the love of his life, Sheryl (Velandingham) Burton for 34 wonderful years. He was the owner of Burton’s and Nu-Vue Contact Lens in Indianapolis, Indiana for many years.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James Burton; and his sister, Una Burton.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife; his children, Joy Summers, Jill (Patrick) Glass, Jane (Dan) Wetzel,
Greg Burton; four grandchildren, Faith, Luke, Grace, Olivia; his brother, Dennis (Rhonda) Burton; many loved ones and friends.
