Lakeport – Jerry Donald Peavey died June 28, 2021. He was born February 26, 1958, in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late, Dallas M. Peavey, Sr., and Rosa Lee (Morgan) Peavey. A resident of Lakeport since 1988, he was a member of the Moore Haven Lodge #61 and Valley of Fort Myers Scottish Rite. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, Cowboys Football, Florida Gators, and Braves Baseball.
Mr. Peavey was preceded in death by his parents and brother, William.
He is survived by his wife, Nora Peavey of Lakeport; son, Chris Smith of Ocala; grandson, Landen; brothers, Dallas Jr. (Laina) and Paul (Tammy); and sisters, Patty, Kathy (Donald), Debby (Tony), Denise (Robert), Sharon (Sean), Angel, and Janie; and several nieces and nephews.
