Jerry K. Correll, Sr., 76, of Centralia, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Odin Healthcare Center.
He was born October 20, 1942 in Centralia, son of James R. Correll and Juanita (Delaney) Correll. He married Mildred Merrell in 1964 and they later divorced.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Laura McDonald and husband T.J. of Centralia, and Valeria Smith of Centralia; sons, Kenny Correll of Centralia, Jerry Correll, Jr. of Centralia, and Christopher Correll and wife Sofia of Florida; grandchildren, Brandon Tate and special friend Tiffany, Derik Tate and fiancé Maranda, Mallori Tate and special friend Clint, Kellsei Tate and special friend Riley, Jayden McDonald, Brooke Smith, Stefanie Poettker and husband Craig, Haylee Smith and special friend Austin, Bret Correll and wife Toby, Cassie Smith and husband Ryan, Sarah Correll, Erica Carpenter, Jessica Carpenter, Keith Carpenter, Zoe Daniel, Victoria Correll, and Adam Correll; twenty six great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; two brothers: Jim Correll and wife Frances of Centralia and John Correll and wife Dee of Centralia; sisters: Sandra Braddy and husband Kenneth of Goosecreek, SC and Sharon McClelland and husband Darrell of Centralia; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a great grandson: Connor Carpenter, a sister: Marilyn Blacksher, a brother-in-law: Glen Blacksher and a sister-in-law: Joan Correll.
Jerry spent his whole life in Centralia. While serving in the U.S. Army, he was stationed over in Germany. He was a member of the Wamac Missionary Baptist Church. Jerry cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.
