Jerry Ray “Coop” Wilson, 65, of Clinton, died at 2:03 pm September 15th in Union Hospital Clinton. HE was born February 16, 1950 to Chester Wilson and Virginia Graham Wilson.
He was a US Navy Veteran during the Vietnam era and was a carpenter, welder, and truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Emilie Targett; and one son, Jerry, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Vandevender Wilson of Clinton; daughter, Mandi Brooks of Blanford; one son, John Cline of Clinton; two step-sons, Tim Dowers of Montezuma and Terry Dowers of Rockville; two sisters, Joann Lewis of Brownsburg and Peggy and Dennis McKinney of Centenary; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
