Jerry Breland
On February 4, 2015, Mr. Jerry Breland, resident of Semmes, AL went home to be with his Heavenly father. Mr. Jerry was born in McLain, MS on November 4, 1933. He loved the LORD first, then he loved his family. He was a member of Crawford Baptist Church. He was an ordained deacon. He loved to play bluegrass music and was in the Highway 63 bluegrass band. He enjoyed watching Alabama football, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and fishing. He served in the United States Airforce. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Jane Breland of Semmes, AL; 2 children Kathy (Dennis Sr.) Cochran, Marty (Shonda) Breland; 4 foster daughters Melissa Stuckey, Tanya Keller, Jennie Cochran, Shelly Howell; 4 grandchildren Dennis Jr. (Jill) Cochran, Jeremy (Jamie) Breland, Heather (Jeremy) Stewart, Danielle (Brandon) Williams; 10 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters Becky (Ralph) Stuckey, Margaret Fitzgerald, Jeanette Desport; 1 brother Robert (Gene) Breland.
