JERRY BELTON TOMPKINS

Jerry Belton Tompkins, 74, passed away at home on June 20, 2022 surrounded by his loving family at home in Orange Park, FL. He was born on July 11, 1947, in Conway, South Carolina to the late Belton Gordon Tompkins and Daisy Ann Fowler.
Jerry graduated from Andrew Jackson High School class of 1966 and then went on to attend classes at Florida Community College Jacksonville. Jerry proudly served in the U.S. Navy and Florida Air National Guard. He also worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father in May 1983 and his mother in November 2008.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Bella Tompkins; children, Michael Jerry Tompkins, Cameron Kyle Tompkins, Matthew Scott Tompkins, Timothy Belton Tompkins and Anna Rebecca Tompkins; grandchildren; brother, Jack Tompkins; sister, Janice Wood and many friends.
Recently , we lost one of our glorious angels, Jerry Belton Tompkins. He was a man who brought joy to everyone he met.
He was a loving father.
He was a loving husband.
He was an honorable soldier.
He was a reputable joker.
And he had a big heart.
There was never a dull moment.
No matter what, he supported his children.
He went peacefully. And today, he is at his new home in heaven.
