Jerry Rittimann, age 73, a resident of Boerne for over 50 years, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 8, 2012. Born in San Antonio, TX, on November 18, 1938, he was the son of Herbert A. Rittimann and Alice A. Ward Rittimann. He retired from Southwestern Bell where he had worked as lineman, installer, and building maintenance. In 1978, he established Rittimann Plumbing. He was a member of the Boerne Lions Club, Jr. Livestock, Kendall Masonic Lodge # 897, A.F. & A.M., Boerne Shrine Club, and Alzafar Shrine. He was very instrumental in the building of the original Rainbow Center. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Howard Rittimann, Jerry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley; children, Debbie Pritko and her husband, Joseph (J.P.), and Brian Rittimann and his wife, Suzanne; brothers, Leroy Rittimann and Herbert Rittimann, Jr.; sisters, Betty Skeels and Shirley Foerster; grandchildren, Crystal Pritko, James Rittimann, and Dean Rittimann.
