Jerry Allen Brown

Jerry Allen Brown, age 76, of Harlingen, Texas passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022. He was born May 3, 1946, to parents, Joe Floyd Brown of Dothan, Alabama and Ethel Louise (Peggy) Allen Brown of Key West, Florida.
His father was a career military man and therefore the family moved many times being stationed across the United States, so Jerry saw a lot of America growing up. At 22, Jerry enlisted in the Navy and served during the Vietnam War. When he was discharged, he returned to Texas where his father had retired. Jerry then completed his education graduating from the University of North Texas with a degree in Education. He went on to teach History to high school students. Jerry loved cats and dogs and always had a pet or two. He had a particular fondness for cats, English Bulldogs and Boxers.
Jerry leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his two sisters, two nieces with their spouses and children; and one nephew.
