Jerry Allen, age 81, a longtime resident of Baker, Florida, passed away on March 23, 2022. He was Born April 20, 1940, in Enterprise, Alabama to Jack and Lucille Allen. He was a millwright and welder for many years. Jerry enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved to go “junkin” and would be “wheeling and dealing”.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law Glyn Patten, brother Sam Allen; sister Vennia Delpozo; brothers-in-law Henry Anglin, Ed Griffith, Willie Burlison and Louis Delpozo
Jerry is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jessie Allen; two sons, Ricky and wife Ceretha Allen of Milligan and Jack and wife Mary Allen of Baker; two daughters, Gwen Patten of Holt and Sheron and husband Mark Forehand of Milligan; sisters: Adice Anglin, Charlotte Griffith, Nellie Burlison; sister-in-law Lynn Allen; 9 grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua, Anthony, Patrick, Holly, Caleb, Jessica, Jacob, and Seth; and 13 great grandchildren.
