Jerome A. “Sonny” Wool, 64, of 286 Valley Road, Nisbet, died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at his home following a brief illness, surrounded by his wife and children.
Sonny and his wife, the former Joan Yorks, would have observed their 41st wedding anniversary on September 6, 2010.
Sonny was a Navy veteran, a founding member of the Ten Point Hunting Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, motorcycling, classic cars, hockey, lawn care and traveling.
Born July 26, 1946 in Williamsport, he was the son of Jerome A. and Ada M. Hanford Wool.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, James A. Wool and a daughter, Barbara A. Wool both of Nisbet.
Sonny was predeceased by a sister, Jean Ann Williams and a brother LaRue John Wool.
