Jerome “Jerry” Rice, 72 years old of Boise, Idaho passed away at his home on July 14th, 2022 ending his long battle with dementia.
Jerry was born May 20th, 1950 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Julian and Lorraine Rice of Lansing, Illinois. Jerry was married to the love of his life, Cookie, for 50 wonderful years. Jerry was an engineer, graduating from the University of Illinois with a bachelors in civil engineering. He worked for Robinson Engineering for 35 years. Retiring as VP in 2006.
Jerry’s passion was music. He played tuba, guitar, bass and many more instruments.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Cookie, his daughter Amanda, grandchildren Kyle, Julian and Andrew. His Brother Jayme of Tampa and his Sister Chrysse of Boise. As well as his furry grand puppy, Fred.
He was proceeded in death by his Parents, Julian and Lorraine and his Son, Jeffrey. As well as his in-laws Stanley and Helen.
