Jerome Michael Howland, 64, entered eternal life on Saturday, February 4, 2012, in Paw Paw, MI, after a valiant fight with cancer. Mike was surrounded by all who loved him, even if in spirit only.
He was born the son of Norman and Eileen Six Howland in Jacksonville on November 17, 1947.
Michael is survived by his sister, Patricia Howland and special cousins, Bruce (Jan) Adams and Gregg (Randi) Adams. He is also survived by his long-time friend and companion Linda “Kati” Winters; step-sons Ronald, Richard and Brian Winters; step-daughter Jennifer (Robert) Brannon.; and two precious granddaughters, McCaela and LilliAnn Brannon. Michael also leaves to grieve brothers-in-law Jon (Sharon) Harrington and Gary (Kathy) Brown, and sister-in-law Deborah (Bill) Windover; many nieces and nephews; and friends Ken and Joy Martin. He is also survived by his family from his cancer support room and he loved all dearly. Mike also leaves his special “fishing buddies”, Rod, Pat and Norm, and his friends at the Paw Paw Ace Hardware store.
