Jerome L. “Jerry” Wojciechowski, 91, of 416 E. 7th St. Peru, died at 4:00 am March 24, 2015 in Heritage Health Care in Peru.
Mr. Wojciechowski was born in Peru on January 28, 1924 to Antoine and Catherine Wojciechowski. He married Jean Udvance and she died on December 1, 1994. Jerry served with the US Navy during WWII and Korean as an Aviation Electrician. He worked in the control room as an operator for Lone Star Cement, formerly Marquette.
Jerry was a HAM radio operator and enjoyed fishing and his grandchildren. He was a member of St.
Mr. Wojciechowski is survived by two grandchildren, Kendall (Edward) Tang and Matthew J. Miller, both of Breckenridge, CO. He was preceded in death by his wife, his daughter and son-in-law Karen and Michael Miller and two sisters Mary Benske and Loretta Pieczynski.
