Jerome “Jerry” Weaver, 68, of Marshville Community passed away Friday, January 20, 2012 at United Hospital Center following an extended illness. He was born October 31, 1943 in Portage, PA, the son of the late Grace and Thomas Weaver. He was married to Donnettia Davis Weaver who survives along with two sons, Steve Weaver and wife Enette of Clarksburg, and Ronnie Weaver of Marshville; a daughter Cindy Ash and husband, Leon of Salem. His grandchildren are David, Chris, Stephenie, and Enoch Weaver of Clarksburg; Ronnie Jr., Sarah, Emily Weaver of Marshville; Stephani Stout and Casey Ash of Salem, and great-grandchild, Nate Weaver of Clarksburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Tom and Elwood Weaver.
Jerry graduated from Salem College. He owned and operated Weavers Greenhouse on Grass Run. He enjoyed woodworking and created many beautiful wood products which were displayed at art and craft shows in the area. He loved working in his greenhouses and spending time with his family. He was Protestant by faith.
