Jerry of Pineville, LA was born on August 21, 1943 and passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022 after a brief illness.
Jerry was a kind and gentle soul who never met a stranger. He resided at St. Christina Nursing and Rehabilitation, where he called home, for the past twenty years. He was loved by the residents and staff and by all who knew him.
Jerry was preceded in death by his sweet and kind father, Veron “Bill” Nelson and his loving aunt, Vieve Garvan who practically raised him.
Survivors include his cousin and caregiver, Jean George (who he called his sister) and her husband, Bob “Bobby” George who he dearly loved. He is also survived by his cousin, James Garvan (who was more like a brother to him) and wife, Rena Garvan and his numerous other cousins.
