Jerome Chernock, “Junkyard Jerry”, 84 of North East, MD, died Monday, July 13, 2020 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Born in Baltimore, MD, on April 4, 1936, he was the son of the late Morris and the late Pauline Chernock. He was the husband of the late Rosalie Jane (Kelly) Chernock who passed November 24, 2012. Jerry enjoyed working at the Junkyard, selling parts, spending time with his family and taking care of his dog, Ricky.
Survived by his children: Charmie Polansky and husband Eric of North East, MD, Paul Chernock of Elkton, MD, Jamie Burchett and husband Larry of Catonsville, MD; 4 grandchildren: Rose Brunner of North East, MD, Jerome Chernock of Arlington, VA, Richard Polansky of Lutherville, MD, Joseph Polansky of Elkton, MD; and 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother: Howard Chernock; and a sister: Dorris Chernock.
