She was born November 18, 1958 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. She lived in this area all of her life. She was a homemaker.
She was a 1977 Highland High School graduate. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved vacationing in Gatlinburg and collecting antiques. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Jeff Caldwell, whom she married on June 4, 1987.
Also surviving are her daughters, Lacey Nichole Caldwell and Katrina Lynn Caldwell; her parents, Jack Sr. and Donna Rivers Melson; sister, Karen Melson & husband Jeff Gray; brother, Jack Melson Jr. & fiancee Lisa; sister, Linda Melson & husband David Friend; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law, Dale & Judy Caldwell, Sister-in-law, Jill & husband Jim Saxon; Brother-in-law, Greg Caldwell; Sister-in-law, Karla McFearn.
She is also survived by her stepson, Jeremiah & wife Jessica Caldwell and stepchildren, Destiny, Zachary and Alexis Caldwell; nephews, Ryan & wife Michelle Eldridge, Jeff Saxon & grilfriend Aleia and DJ Friend; nieces, Tedessa & husband Jason Stewart and Lia Friend. Her lifelong best friend, Debbie Stover and her very, very, very loving feline buddy, Bentley, also survive.
