Jeremiah “Miah” Bowling, 25, Shelbyville, lost his life unexpectedly in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, October 8, 2016. A native of Shelbyville, he was the son of Patricia Bowling Fitzpatrick and the late Roger Dean Bowling. He was a cashier at Elmer’s Mart in Elk Creek. He had previously worked at KFC and Taco Bell in Shelbyville. He was an avid U. of L. fan and enjoyed playing pool and cards.
Survivors include his mother, Patricia B. Fitzpatrick of Shelbyville; two sisters, Janie Ware of Shelbyville and Rebecca Bowling (Charles) Gaines of Bedford; one brother, Kenneth Ware of Indiana; several aunts and uncles; three nieces; several cousins and his former stepfather Thomas “Danny” Ritter of Shelbyville.
