Jeremiah “Jeremy” Edward Leigh Ray, 42, resident of Franklin, Indiana passed away at home on April 16, 2021. Jeremy was born in Panama City, Panama on January 10, 1979.
Jeremy worked as a foreman for “Good Shepherd Fence Company”. He was known for having a kind and caring heart to everyone he encountered. He never turned down a chance to help someone else in need. He frequently had a goal of making others laugh or smile with his warm sense of humor. In his spare time, Jeremy could often be found making improvements with his tools nearby. He treasured his truck and had a great love for cars of all types. He was very passionate when it came to his faith and valued his relationship with God. Jeremy cherished the bond he had with his family and loved his role as a father.
Jeremy is survived by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Eversole; his step-father, Roger Eversole; his father, Johnny Randall Ray, his step-mother, Judy Ray; his six children, Taylor Ray, Cory Ray, Michael Ray, Zachary Ray, Kayleigh Ray, and Hadassah Ray; his five siblings, Johnny (Elizabeth) Ray Jr., Joshua (Terry) Ray, Allie Carlin, Samantha (Ethan) Fults, and Michael Zeigler; his grandmother, Maxine Franklin Eviston; his aunts, Kathy Eviston, Pam Ray (Paul) Binger, and Susan Ray (Jim) Mewborn, and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his grandfather, John E. Eviston; grandparents, John T. Ray and Maxine Slocum Ray, and his aunt Julie Eviston Tansy.
