Jere Johnson Agar died peacefully in her home in the early morning hours of June 7, 2013. She was 82. A lifelong Norman resident, Jere was married to Jim Agar for over 60 years. She is survived by her four children; Graham Agar of Austin, TX, Lacy Barrett of Norman, OK, Adrienne Hernández of San Antonio, TX and Col. Jim Agar of Washington, DC along with seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. An avid sports enthusiast, golfer and volunteer, she enjoyed giving back to her local community. She was adored by her family and will be missed by her many, many friends.
