On Friday April 15, 2022, Jerald Thomas Stapleton of Lead Hill, AR. gained his heavenly wings. He was at home with his wife Krissy Kimes Stapleton and daughter Kathy Stapleton Frantz.
Jerry was born March 21, 1947, in Exeter, MO and grew up in Purdy, MO. He enlisted in the Marine Corp and did two tours in Vietnam. When he returned from Vietnam he worked as truck driver and then construction where he helped build many buildings in Branson, MO. Jerry was an active member of the VFW, American Legion, and Taney Co Shrine and Masonic Lodge of Branson MO.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Dale R. & Margie Stapleton, son Dale Stapleton, and brothers Junior Stapleton and James Stapleton.
Jerry is survived by his wife Krissy (Kimes) Stapleton of Lead Hill, AR, Sisters: Viola Castle of Paintsville, KY, Janet (Russ) Hemphill of Monett, MO, Mary Swafford of Kingston, OH, and Barb McFarland of Eaton, OH. His Children: Kathy (Larry) Frantz of Lead Hill, AR. Jerry Jr (Jaye Lynn) Stapleton of Hephzibah, GA, Julie (Robert) Thomas of Cassville, MO, Katie (Jesse) Raphael of Bentonville, AR, CJ Russell of Rogers, AR. He was loved and will be missed by eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and so many dear friends.
