Jerald Dennis McCain was born September 23rd, 1948 and passed unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home on March 11, 2017. Jerry was born to Darlene and Vernon McCain and has 3 siblings, Ronnie, Bunny, and Joe. Jerry married Patty in 1969 and had 2 children, Amber and Eric, who passed in 1992. In 1996, Jerry didn’t “give his daughter away” to Matt Wood he added a son, fishing buddy, and friend. He had one granddaughter, Cydnee age 11, who will miss her Papa deeply, and his grand-dog Oaklee. He lived life to the fullest even to the last second of his life as he was packing his truck to go fishing on Sunday morning. I believe my dad made it fishing on that Sunday morning, just not to the place he expected. He was greeted in heaven by his son, Eric and this time Eric caught the BIG ONE. A short life for a great man who knew how to live, love, and laugh. Let’s keep him alive in our hearts by sharing all our great Jerry stories, because there are many.
