Jerald Abercrombie, 67, Chickamauga, died May 27, 2007, at his residence. He had been a resident of North Georgia for over 20 years and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Abercrombie loved to laugh and loved his wife of 32 years. He was owner of Precision Test and Balance Company. Survivors are his wife, Birgit Abercrombie; son, Timothy J. Abercrombie, Hartsell, Ala.; daughter, Gayla (Johnny) Puckett, Decatur, Ala.; brothers, Ray and Gary Abercrombie, both of Union Hill, Ala.; sisters, Ina Lee Parker, Union Hill, Ala., Bunton Jackson, Guntersville, Ala., and Carlene, Union Hill, Ala.; grandchildren, John Matthew Puckett and Chante Puckett.
