Jenores “Jo” Ann Morvant, age 78, entered eternal rest May 19th, 2022.
Jo was born in Olivia on February 26th, 1944 to the late Clifford and Annie Morvant.
She enjoyed helping people while she worked at Azaela Nursing Home as a nurse. She loved cooking and baking for her family and took joy in teaching her loved ones. Other hobbies that she loved was working in the garden and fishing for catfish. The best part of her day was sitting outside on her swing while watching the humming birds and talking with family and friends.
Survivors include one son: Bryan Allen Lohr; one daughter: Melissa Lohr Hickson and granddaughter: Jamie Lynn Hickson ; sister: Connie Morvant; niece: Brittany Montgomery and family friend; Aimee Byrd.
Preceded in death by her husband: John Robert Lohr; Parents: Clifford and Annie T. Morvant; sisters: Nadine Hebert and Verona Morrison; Brothers: Ira “Mo” Morvant and Travis Morvant.
