Jenny Smith, age 90, of Salem, died Monday December 22, 2014 at the Hospice House in Poland, Ohio. She was born July 29, 1924 in London, England, United Kingdom, daughter of the late Rueben and Sarah (Parks) DeHaan. Jenny was a member of the Episcopal Church of Our Savior in Salem. She had worked at MacMillan’s Office Supply and previously at Timberlanes as the hostess. Her husband, Alfred D. Smith, preceded in death in 1975, they were married June 6, 1945. A sister Irene Cadess also preceded in death. Survivors include a daughter Sondra (Robert) Anderson of Salem; a grandson, Robyn J. Anderson and his wife Kelly; and a great granddaughter, Madeleine Anderson.
