Jennings Winford Douglas, age 75, of Salem, Ohio, died at 12:26 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at his home. He was born March 6, 1937 in Webster Springs, West Virginia, the son of the late Charlie and Arlie (Hammer) Douglas. Before his retirement 15 years ago, Mr. Douglas had been a self-employed truck driver for 45 years. His wife of 10 years, Lori Douglas survives him along with a son, Jennings Allen (Trudy) Douglas of Salem; four daughters, Debra (Greg) Thompson of Alliance, Connie (Donald) Greathouse of Salem, Sue (Brent) Baddeley of Salem and Julie (Mike) Leyman of Salem; three sisters, Melva Wolfcomber of Springfield, Ohio, Helen Hough of Danese, West Virginia and Thelma McIntosh of Daytona Beach, Florida; a brother, Denver Douglas of Springfield, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. His first wife, Charlotte Douglas, preceded him in death June 18, 2002. Two brothers and a sister also preceded him in death.
