Jennifer Lynn Nelson, 18, of Rt 1, Newburg passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009 as a result of an automobile accident. She was born at Preston Memorial Hospital on July 13, 1991, daughter of Roger Lee Sr. and Betsy Jean Knotts Nelson of Newburg.
Jennifer attended Preston High School and worked at the Morgantown Motel. She was a caring, loving girl who had a smile and a hug for everyone. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was looking forward to her wedding.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fiancée Matthew T Knotts of Newburg; two sisters, Jessica Dawn and Courtney Nicole Nelson; one brother, Roger Lee Nelson Jr. all at home; Paternal grandparents, James and Linda Akers Nelson of Newburg; Maternal grandparents, Paul and Sadie Buckingham Knotts of Tunnelton; one niece Destiny LeAnn Waybright, one nephew, Andrew McCarthan Waybright of Newburg; five aunts , Carolyn Nelson and companion Dennis Stone of Newburg, Tammy Nelson Deavers and husband Carl, Brenda Westbrook and companion Robbie Riley, Lola Westbrook and Sadie Knotts all of Tunnelton; four uncles, Ricky Sr. and Tracy Hovatter Nelson, Roger and Tonya Richards Knotts, George Knotts and Randy Knotts all of Tunnelton; Cousins, John, Melinda and Clarence Bell, Anthony, Amber, Melanie, Tosha, Brittany, Ricky Jr, Tyla and Samantha Nelson, Dominic, Justin, Luke and Patrick Deavers, Suzanne McMillen, Christopher, James and Samantha Metz, David Waybright, Betsy, Danielle and Roger Knotts, Natasha, Ryan, Charles “Junior” Collins, Allen and James Westbrook, Skyley Lipscomb all of Tunnelton area, and Britanny Horton of Morgantown; numerous great aunts, uncles and other cousins.
