Jennifer Lynn “Jenny” Atwell, 44, of Raleigh, passed away at Rex Hospital on Friday, August 16, 2019. Jenny was born in Wayne County, NC on October 6, 1974. She was a graduate of Swansboro High School, and a 20-year employee Dine Brands Global (Applebee’s), serving as Manager of IT.
Jenny will always be remembered for being unselfish in her love of life, family and friends – from her bright, shining smile that would lift your spirits, to her infectious laugh. If you met Jenny only once, you called her “a friend.” That was the impact she had.
Jenny was determined to make a difference in her life, letting no obstacle hold her back, and striving to always improve.
She was a loving and encouraging wife and mother; and her children and husband carry on her courage, strength and resilience.
Jenny loved and embraced life with an adventurous spirit, holding nothing back – whether it was cooking classes, painting, riding in a submarine, or skydiving. Jenny enjoyed quiet times as well, relaxing at the beach, reading a good book, or watching a movie with family or friends. Jenny lived her life to the fullest, no matter what came her way, the ups and the downs. She loved nothing more than her family, they meant the world to her. Jenny will be loved, missed and remembered by all who knew her.
