Waterbury – Mrs. Jennie (Pivirotto) Scarpati, age 99, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016 at Watertown Convalarium in Watertown. She was the widow of the late Benedict Scarpati.
Mrs. Scarpati was born in Cheshire, CT on April 30, 1917 a daughter of the late Gemma and Egidio Pivirotto.

Mrs. Scarpati is survived by a daughter, Joan and her husband Nick Richards of Watertown; two sons, Bill Scarpati of Prospect; and Edward and his wife Cindy Scarpati of Prospect; her sister Frances Hoshor of Cheshire, 7 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by Ernesto Pivirotto, Chelso and Guido Pivirotto and her daughter-in-law Phyllis Scarpati. .
