DELBUONOJennie, age 98 on October 3, 2021, of Havertown PA.Predeceased by her husband Anthony ‘Del’, her 2 brothers Domenic and Fred, her sisters Rose, Marge, Lucy, and is survived by her daughter Lisa Falcone, her granddaughter Gabriella Falcone, and many loving nieces and in Bethlehem PA, she was the youngest of 7. She grew up during the Great Depression, living through WWII, the Korean and Vietnam wars. She met her veteran husband in Atlantic City and they married in 1947, settling in Philadelphia. They eventually moved to Upper Darby where they raised their daughter Lisa, and worked together to build Anthony’s business. Jennie readily had Del’s 2 nieces, Jane and Joanne, move in and raised them.Jennie loved to cook and entertain in her home, whether spur of the moment or a planned event. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, collecting antiques, sewing curtains and knitting. She was able to stop working and that was when she found her passion when she took a Bridge for Beginners course at the local high school. She caught on quickly to the game and was fiercely competitive over her 50+ years at the table. She accumulated the points necessary to make her a Life Master and mentored many who were learning the game. Jennie played 3-4 times per week until the damn pandemic hit, and she could not wait for things to get back to normal. Play resumed this year with social games at home and finally when the clubs reopened in the spring, she picked up where she left off, playing until mid-SEPT ’21. Jennie was able to enjoy her visits from family and friends these past few weeks, and was overwhelmed by their kind words and stories of friendship. She will be missed for her joie de vivre as well as her pizza
