Jeffry Timothy Alan Justice, 70, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Jeffry was born on April 11, 1951 in Franklin to the late Robert Henry and Jean Elaine (Myers) Justice.
Jeffry was a skilled journeyman tool and die maker in the UAW and worked at Allison Transmission for twenty years until his retirement. He was a Republican, a member of the Franklin Lions Club, and faithfully attended Tabernacle Christian Church, where he sang in the choir. He had a compassion for others and volunteered at the Whiteland food pantry religiously and served a number of seasons with Meals on Wheels.
Jeffry was a loving father and a wonderful grandfather. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. Along with creating memories with his loved ones, he enjoyed golfing, playing card games, barbequing, and going on motorcycle rides in his early years. He passionately enjoyed gardening and was an excellent cook as well. When his children were little, he loved taking them to Princes Lakes in Nineveh to fish for catfish, swim, and go rafting on their friend’s pontoon boat. Jeffry was a lifelong IU basketball and football fan and was always thrilled to watch his favorite football team, the Indianapolis Colts.
Jeffry is survived by his three children, Captain Rachel (Marcus) Hartman of Fort Wayne, IN, Joshua Justice of Kokomo, IN, and Jessica Justice of Oregon; his fourteen grandchildren; his brother, John (Wilma) Justice of Franklin, IN; his nephew and nieces, Steven Brown, Debbie (Tony) Nally, Nikki (Jeff) Caudle, and Kristi Justice, all of Franklin.
Jeffry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jean Justice, and his sister, Sandy Brown.
