Jeffrie Arthur ScottAge 61 of Owosso passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Sparrow Healtcare System. Funeral services will be held 11am Monday, September 15, 2014 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor John Walworth officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6 to 8pm. and Sunday from 2 to 8pm.Jeffrie was born February 25, 1953 in Owosso, the son of Norman and Mildred (Lowden) Scott.He graduated from Corunna High School, class of 1971.Jeffrie loved sports; especially U of M football. He was a hardworker and enjoyed working on cars. Most of all Jeffrie looked forward to time with his family and friends.Jeffrie worked at GM for 32 years as a body man and also in the paint department.Jeffrie is survived by his son Jason (Karla) Scott, Jeremy Scott and Justin (Cheryl) Scott; grandchildren Steve, Morgen, Stephanie, McKenzee, Chloee, Makayla and Damion; mother Mildred; sister Janet (Patrick) Scott; brothers John (Mary) Scott and David Scott; many nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.He was predeceased by his father Norman, niece Tiffany and sister Suzanne.Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society or the Shiawassee ARC.Online condolences may be sent to the family at Nelson-House.com.
