Jeffrey Wayne Jehling, 50, of Galesburg, died at 9:28 a.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Rosewood Care Center, Galesburg. Jeff was born June 23, 1967, in Galesburg, the son of Paul R. and Karen J. (Smith) Jehling.
He married Elaine Marie Milton on June 29, 2002, in Galesburg.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Elaine of Galesburg; his mother, Karen of Galesburg; and one brother, Bryan (Amy) Jehling of Tempe, AZ.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Paul R. Jehling on September 22, 2015. Jeff was an active member of the First Christian Church where he had served as a deacon. Jeff attended Western Illinois University and graduated from Carl Sandburg College. He worked as the property manager at Parkway Estates and as a custodian at First Christian Church.
