Jeffrey W. Leonardi, 57 years old, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, passed away suddenly due to a workplace accident on September 10,2021. Jeffrey was born in Des Moines, Iowa to James and Frances Leonardi on August 23, 1964. He was a graduate of Des Moines East High school and received his graduate degree from Central Texas College.
Jeffrey proudly served in the United States Army for more than 20 years, retiring at the rank of Army Sergeant First Class. He received numerous awards and medals throughout his career. He was an active member of the Moose Lodge where he served his community. First, starting in Kentucky and then ending as a governor of the Iowa Chapter.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Scott) McCrea of Dickinson, Texas, and his significant other Christine Adamiak. He is also survived by his 5 siblings: Mark (Tami) Leonardi of New Virginia, Iowa; Tim (Becky) Leonardi of Altoona, Iowa; Liana (Dave) Frost of Des Moines, Iowa; Tracey Facey of West Des Moines, Iowa; and Joseph Leonardi of San Francisco, California. Along with his many nieces and nephews.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents James Leonardi and Frances Marshall; brother James Leonardi Jr; sister Theresa Leonardi; and niece Tammy Van Rees.
