Jeff Todd Middleton, 39, of Denver passed away on Sunday, January 26th. He lost his life due to a long time battle of alcoholism and depression. Jeff was born on September 14, 1974 at Rose Medical Center.
Our beloved Jeff was a proud Colorado native who embraced the beauty and wonder of the outdoors. He was an avid soccer player, golfer, snow boarder, hiker/camper and bicyclist. On numerous occasions Jeff participated in the “Ride to the Rockies” biking event in Colorado.
Jeff graduated from George Washington High School in 1993; followed by a BA from CU Boulder in international affairs in 1998. Additionally he earned a BSN in nursing from CU Boulder in 2006. He went on to become a registered nurse and was employed at Rose Medical Center.
Jeff is survived by his father Frank Middleton and his wife Sandy of Centennial, CO. His brother Scott Middleton and his wife Tricia as well as their son Camden of Broomfield, CO. His aunt and uncle Jack and Nancy Smith of Centennial, CO as well as their three daughters (Rachel, Ashley, and Laura) and their extended families. In addition, he is survived by his uncle Kent Middleton and his wife Parker of Athens, Georgia as well as two cousins (Margaret & Hillary).
Jeff will reside in our hearts forever and we will never forget his lust for adventure. We celebrate and remember his life today and always.
