Jeffrey T. “Digger” Raniere, 52, of Shoemakersville, formerly of Bethlehem, died on Oct. 19th as a result of a motorcycle accident. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Joseph and Carole (Vohlidka) Raniere Oscavich. He served in the U.S. Army. Digger was a biker and was an active member of the Reading Motorcycle Club, Inc. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Survivors: son, Anthony Thornton of Florida; companion Cindy Undheim; two brothers, Kenneth and Frank and a sister, Evelyn. He was predeceased by his brother Cliff.
