Mr. Jeffrey “ Jeff ” Keith McLendon, 55, a resident of Valley, AL passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Columbus Hospice House, Columbus, GA.
Survivors include his daughter, Anna Marie McLendon and her sister, Leah Bailey and her brother, Tristin Norgard; mother, Sydelle Story, father, Raymond McLendon (Angie); three sisters, Phaedra Childers (David), Medea Artolachipe (Michelle), Sommer Andrews-Abrams; niece, Zoey Andrews; and nephew, Adam Childers. He also leaves behind his dear friend, Eddie as well as Randall, Hebo, Jerry, and Brandon who were all very supportive of him during his illness.
Jeff was born in Langdale, AL on May 23, 1966. He was employed by Tredegar in LaGrange and West Point Pepperell in Langdale. He attended Riverview Baptist Church. Jeff enjoyed hunting, gardening, and fishing, but fishing was his favorite past time. His other hobbies included collecting old treasures, such as signs, digging for antiquated bottles, and searching for old, discarded lawnmowers with the hope of finding all the necessary parts to build one good lawnmower. But, the light and love of his life was his daughter, Anna.
