Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Avista Nursing and Rehab after a lengthy illness. He was 57 years old. Jeffrey Harold Hammis was born on October 21, 1961 in Saginaw, MI to the late Donald E. and Patricia A. (Shields) Hammis. He graduated in 1976 and then moved to Florida doing lawn care. Jeff returned to Saginaw in 2007 and enjoyed spending time with his daughter and grandchildren. He loved watching his nieces and nephews play sports and watching the Tigers, Lions and Michigan football. Jeff was always the dependable man to help fix and repair everything, his loving and devoted kindness will be deeply missed by his family.
SERVICE: According to Jeff’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
