Jeannine A. Wilcox, 93, of Layton Utah, passed away peacefully on June 16th, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Jeannine was born February 16th, 1929 in Castle Dale, Utah, to George and Cora Anderson. She grew up in Emery, later moving to Layton, Utah, with her husband Carl (Jack) Wilcox. Jeannine and Jack were married on November 16th, 1946 in American Fork, Utah. Together they had four children: Carla, Peggy, Dennis, and Diane.

Jeannine was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed serving in numerous church callings including Boy Scout Den mother, Mutual Leader, and Ward Librarian. Jeannine loved fishing, hunting, and camping, especially at her favorite place, Fish Lake. She had many diverse interests in her life such as dancing, bird watching, bingo, and card games with her family that often extended late into the night. Jeannine was also a talented cake decorator, running her own home business for many years. However, her greatest love was her family, of whom she was very proud.

Jeannine was known to many for being welcoming, kind, and always ready to share a laugh and a smile.

Jeannine is survived by her brother, Afton Anderson, of Layton, UT; her sister-in-law, Joyce Anderson, of Layton, UT; her children, Carla (Joe) Marriott, of Loveland, CO; Dennis (Pam) Wilcox of Farr West, UT; and Diane (Jerry) Jackson, of Layton, UT. Jeannine had 5 grandchildren, Chalene (Caleb) Curry, Tina (Toby) Larson, Carl (Tasha) Jackson, Emma Jackson, Zachary (Alyssa) Jackson, and 8 great-grandchildren. Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents, George and Cora Anderson, of Layton, UT; her husband Carl (Jack) Wilcox, of Layton UT; her brother, Glen Anderson, of Layton, UT; her sister-in-law, Sandy Anderson, of Layton, UT; and her daughter, Peggy Wilcox, of Layton, UT.
